Wilson Saboia has named a plethora of the sport’s best players in Brazil’s squad for the first FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup™. It is led by thrill machines Amandinha and Emilly, the record eight-time Best Women’s Player and holder of the award respectively.

It also includes Camila, the recipient of the esteemed prize for 2023, two-time Best Women’s Goalkeeper Bianca, captain Taty, thunder-shooting Debora Vanin and 41-year-old legend Lucileia. Julia, for her part, won the battle with Flavi and Jozi for the second goalkeeping position. There was agony for Bia, Jessika, Luana Moura and Nati Detoni, who were overlooked.

Brazil are on an exceptional 33-game winning streak – they have scored 195 goals and conceded only 13 in the process – since a 3-2 defeat to Spain three-and-a-half years ago. They will play IR Iran, Italy and Panama in Group D at Philippines 2025. The Brazilians sit top of the FIFA Futsal Women’s World Ranking, with the Iranians and Italians both inside the top 10.

The FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup will kick off on 21 November. All matches will take place at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City, Metropolitan Manila.
