Brazil turned in a performance for the ages to win Group D with a game to spare at the FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup Philippines 2025™. Amandinha, Ana Luiza, Debora and Emilly wowed for Wilson Saboia’s Seleção, with only the exceptional goalkeeping of Ana Carolina Sestari keeping the scoreline down.
Ana Luiza played a give-and-go with Emilly and stabbed home the opener. Renata Adamatti volleyed in an equaliser, but it was one-way traffic thereafter. Emilly’s rocket restored Brazil’s advantage, Amandinha’s brace pulled them away, Tampa set up her childhood friend Debora for a tap-in, and Camila got in on the act.
Italy now need a draw against IR Iran on Saturday to go through, while Brazil will look to make it nine points from a possible nine against Panama.
