Ukraine climb as Poland and Vietnam reach top 20

Brazil remained top of an unchanged top seven on the FIFA Futsal Men’s World Ranking. Since its last edition, the Seleção won all 10 of their matches.

Ukraine also have a 100-per-cent record in the period, Ihor Korsun inspiring a 3-1 victory in France last time out. Oleksandr Kosenko’s team duly inched up to eighth, dropping Kazakhstan to ninth.

There was considerable movement to their south. Poland (up 3 to 19th) and Vietnam (up 6 to 20th) both entered the top 20, while Afghanistan (up 5 to 28th), Hungary (up 6 to 32nd), Iraq (up 4 to 37th), Slovakia (up 4 to 38th), Kyrgyz Republic (up 6 to 43rd), Latvia (up 8 to 52nd), Korea Republic (up 16 to 57th), Denmark (up 11 to 61st), Malaysia (up 11 to 70th), Montenegro (up 16 to 78th), Mozambique (up 12 to 85th) and Türkiye (up 9 to 112th) all made significant progress.

Overall, 230 men’s internationals were played since 29 August, with Pakistan and Bangladesh entering the global ladder after playing their first games.
