How teams qualified for FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027
Brazil
Qualified as hosts, with the tournament heading to South American soil for the first time. Brazil will be aiming to reach the final for the second time, after they fell to Germany in the 2007 decider.
Australia
The Matildas secured qualification for a ninth consecutive edition by defeating Korea DPR 2-1 in the quarter-finals of the AFC Women’s Asian Cup. Goals in either half from Alanna Kennedy and hometown heroine Sam Kerr were enough for a hard-fought win in Western Australia.
