France, Germany, Norway and Spain storm to Morocco 2026

France, Germany, Spain and Norway have become the first European nations to secure their spots at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2026™ following the conclusion of the UEFA Women’s Under-17 Championship group stage.

Germany and France topped their respective sections, while Norway and Spain both finished second to join them in Morocco. Those four sides will now head to the semi-finals.

England and Poland, meanwhile, will contest a play-off to determine the fifth and final spot allocated to European sides at this tournament.

Spain and France return to the finals as previous winners. La Roja became the first nation to win the tournament back-to-back in 2018 and 2022, and reached the decider in 2024, only to be edged by Korea DPR. France, for their part, finished top of the podium at Azerbaijan 2012. Germany, who finished third in 2008, will play at the finals for the first time since 2022, while Norway are returning after debuting last year.

Twenty-four teams will head to the Moroccan showpiece, which takes place from 17 October to 7 November.
