Suspensions

Argentina will be without go-to performer Silvina Nava, who will serve her second suspension of Philippines 2025. No Portugal player will miss out due to a ban.

Yellow cards were wiped after the quarter-finals. No player, therefore, will miss the final due to collecting a second yellow card of the tournament during the semi-finals. Any player sent off during the semi-finals, however, will be suspended for the final.

Players to watch

Carina Nunez has long been one of the sport’s top performers. Lucia Rossi seems destined to emulate her captain and become a fixture among the elite, with the dynamic 20-year-old scoring twice in the quarter-finals.

Janice Silva is fresh from breathtaking back-to-back displays. Her long-time sidekick Fifo has also glowed in Manila, while the speed and skill of Lidia Moreira is potent cocktail.
