Argentina switched on the style to overwhelm Morocco in the maiden FIFA Futsal Women’s World Cup™ match. The Atlas Lionesses competed admirably until Ana Ontiveros tapped home the competition’s first goal. It opened the floodgates, with Agostina Chiesa, Mailen Romero, Luciana Natta and Lara Villalba scoring in quick succession. Julia Dupuy then sealed an emphatic victory for the Albiceleste.
Argentina will return to the PhilSports Arena against Poland on Monday, while Morocco will look to rebound against Philippines.
