Suriname coach Henk Ten Cate has named his 26-player roster for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Play-Off Tournament, which includes prolific goalscorer Richonell Margaret and star winger Sheraldo Becker.
The veteran Dutch tactician also handed maiden call-ups to LASK midfielder Melayro Bogarde, nephew of former Netherlands international Winston Bogarde, and Leeds United forward Joel Piroe. Both Bogarde and Piroe pledged their international alliance to Suriname in the last three months.
Ten Cate took over for Stanley Menzo following the conclusion of Concacaf qualifying, and will attempt to steer A Natio past Bolivia and Iraq for a berth in their first World Cup.
Suriname face the South Americans in the semi-final on 26 March at Monterrey Stadium, and with a win would advance to the decider on 31 March against the Lions of Mesopotamia.
Victory in both contests would send Suriname into Group I alongside France, Norway and Senegal.
