The Coca-Cola Company and FIFA have continued the sixth FIFA World Cup™ Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola with January visits to Egypt, Turkey, Austria, India, Bangladesh, Korea Republic, Japan and Malaysia.
After getting under way in in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on 3 January, the iconic prize has now been seen by hosts of eager supporters in Cairo, Istanbul, Vienna, Delhi, Guwahati, Dhaka, Seoul, Tokyo and Kuala Lumpur.
The World Cup Original Trophy has been accompanied by FIFA Legends, with former Brazil international Gilberto Silva and Italy’s Fabio Cannavaro present to welcome and engage with local dignitaries, football officials and fans.
In Delhi, the public event which featured live music and entertainment was attended by over 15,000 people, with access for fans to take photos with the FIFA World Cup Original Trophy.
The FIFA World Cup Original Trophy will visit 30 FIFA Member Associations across 75 stops and more than 150 tour days, giving fans around the world a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see football’s most coveted prize.
