Final knockout places at stake as group stage concludes

We’re firmly into crunch time at the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025™ as a host of sides look to stay perfect and some eye the points they need to secure a passage to the knockouts.

Group I

Czechia v USA

17:45 in Doha
15:45 in Prague
06:45 in Los Angeles
09:45 in Washington D.C.

USA will be out to make it three wins from three, while Czechia know a point will be enough to guarantee their place the Round of 32.

Burkina Faso v Tajikistan

17:45 in Doha
14:45 in Ouagadougou
19:45 in Dushanbe

Burkina Faso will be hungry to build on an impressive win over Czechia. A draw will take them through to the next phase. For Tajikistan, only a win will give them any chance of progress.

Group J

Republic of Ireland v Paraguay

16:30 in Doha
13:30 in Dublin
10:30 in Asuncion

The Irish have been outstanding at this tournament and have qualified after back-to-back wins. For Paraguay, a point will be enough to take them through.

Uzbekistan v Panama

16:30 in Doha
18:30 in Tashkent
08:30 in Panama City

Uzbekistan were beaten by Ireland last time out and still require a point to be sure of a spot in the knockouts. Panama’s hopes are dangling by a thread and they must win to have any chance of progress.

Group K

Uganda v France

15:30 in Doha
15:30 in Kampala
13:30 in Paris

It’s still all to play for here, with France needing a point to be sure of a place in the Round of 32. Uganda, sure to be roared on by their passionate fans, must win to have a chance of advancing.

Chile v Canada

15:30 in Doha
09:30 in Santiago
07:30 in Ottawa

It’s a similar story in the group’s other fixture. Canada require a draw to be certain of progress, while Chile must take maximum points to keep their hopes alive.

Group L

Saudi Arabia v Mali

18:45 in Doha
18:45 in Riyadh
15:45 in Bamako

Both teams head into this having won one and lost one of their opening two fixtures. Both can qualify with a point here, but will be hungry to end the group phase on a high.

New Zealand v Austria

18:45 in Doha
04:45 (on Wednesday) in Wellington
16:45 in Vienna

New Zealand can no longer qualify but, if their performance in a dramatic 3-2 defeat to Saudi Arabia last time out is anything to go by, they will perform with spirit, steel and determination. Austria, meanwhile, will aim to sustain their perfect record.
