Real Madrid C. F. forward Gonzalo Garcia has won the race to be named FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ Top Goal Scorer presented by Bank of America after scoring four times during the tournament.
The 21-year-old was thrust into the limelight in the group phase when Kylian Mbappe was sidelined by illness, and responded by providing either a goal or an assist in the meetings with Al Hilal, CF Pachuca, FC Salzburg, Juventus FC and Borussia Dortmund. The only game he failed to provide a goal contribution was Real’s semi-final reverse at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain.
The assist Garcia registered against Pachuca in the group phase means he takes the award ahead of SL Benfica veteran Angel Di Maria, Al Hilal frontman Marcos Leonardo and Borussia Dortmund’s Serhou Guirassy, who all netted four times in the USA.
Fabian Ruiz of Paris Saint-Germain went into the final against Chelsea FC on three goals but could not add to his tally in the 3-0 defeat at MetLife Stadium, with triumphant final scorers Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro ending the tournament with three apiece as the English Premier League side claimed global glory.

Top Goal Scorer criteria
The Top Goal Scorer Presented by Bank of America will be awarded to the player who scores the most goals in the final competition. If two or more players score the same number of goals, the number of assists (as determined by the members of the FIFA Technical Study Group) shall be decisive.
If two or more players are still equal after taking into account the number of assists, the total minutes played in the tournament will be taken into account, with the player playing fewer minutes ranked first.
