Knockout places at stake as four groups draw to close

Groups A, B, C and D draw to a close today, as the knockout-stage field continues taking shape at the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025™.

Who has qualified for the Round of 32?

Group A

18:45 in Doha
11:45 in La Paz

After earning a hard-fought draw against South Africa, Qatar can still secure qualification. Bolivia are also in with a shout despite losing their opening two matches.

18:45 in Doha
16:45 in Rome
17:45 in Pretoria

The top two collide here, with both knowing a win will secure them top spot. Italy impressed when securing qualification against Bolivia, while South Africa had to battle back to earn a point from the hosts last time out.

Group B

16:30 in Doha
13:30 in Lisbon
22:30 in Tokyo

Top spot is on the line in this one. Portugal are looking to go three from three, while Japan – who drew with New Caledonia last time out – can leapfrog them into top spot with victory.

16:30 in Doha
14:30 in Rabat
00:30 in Noumea (on Monday)

Morocco have endured a horror start to Qatar 2025, conceding eight goals while scoring none, but could still reach the next round. New Caledonia, meanwhile, are on the verge of making history. They’ve led a match and kept a clean sheet for the first time ever at a World Cup, and know avoiding defeat here gives them a record points tally.

Group C

17:45 in Doha
18:45 in Abu Dhabi
14:45 in Dakar

United Arab Emirates recovered from defeat to Croatia to take a point versus Costa Rica last time out. Senegal, for their part, edged out Costa Rica to ignite their campaign.

17.45 in Doha
15:45 in Zagreb
08:45 in San Jose

Three goals scored with none conceded sees Croatia head up Group C, while Costa Rica will be hell-bent on securing a first U-17 World Cup win since 2015.

Group D

15:30 in Doha
00:30 in Suva (on Monday)
09:30 in Buenos Aires

After shipping 13 goals in their opening two matches, Fiji have been eliminated. Argentina, who edged Tunisia last time out to secure their place in the Round of 32, will secure top spot if they do not lose.

15:30 in Doha
13:30 in Brussels
13:30 in Tunis

Left deflated by a cruel defeat to Argentina on Matchday 1, Belgium bounced back to send seven past Fiji. Tunisia, who also hit the islanders for six, also fell to the Albiceleste. With three points apiece, this one is finely poised.
