Jamal Musiala has surged into an early lead in the race to be named Top Goal Scorer presented by Bank of America at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™.
The FC Bayern München man stepped off the bench in the second half of the 10-0 romp against Auckland City FC to bag a rapid hat-trick, taking him clear of several of his team-mates.
The Group C contest proved to be a challenging afternoon for the amateur side from New Zealand, as Michael Olise, Kingsley Coman and Thomas Muller all bagged braces in an action-packed encounter at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati.

Top Goal Scorer criteria
The Top Goal Scorer Presented by Bank of America will be awarded to the player who scores the most goals in the final competition. If two or more players score the same number of goals, the number of assists (as determined by the members of the FIFA Technical Study Group) shall be decisive.
If two or more players are still equal after taking into account the number of assists, the total minutes played in the tournament will be taken into account, with the player playing fewer minutes ranked first.
