Suspensions

No Spaniard or Brazilian is banned. Yellow cards were wiped after the quarter-finals, so a player collecting a second yellow card of the tournament during the semi-finals will not miss the final. Any player sent off during the semi-finals, however, will be suspended for the decider.

Players to watch

The Cordoba twins have registered nine goals, six assists and three Player of the Match awards between them. Ale De Paz, Antia Perez, Irene Samper and Vane Sotelo are among Spain’s other elite match-winners.

Emilly, one of the most gifted players to have ever graced futsal, has emphatically lived up to her status as the sport’s reigning Best Women’s Player. Amandinha, Ana Luiza, Debora Vanin and Tampa have also excelled for Brazil.
