France and Paris Saint-Germain forward Ousmane Dembele topped the podium to claim the honour for the first time ahead of Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal and Real Madrid attacker Kylian Mbappe. Lionel Messi, Harry Kane and Marquinhos – captains of Argentina, England and Brazil, respectively – all placed the man they may face at FIFA World Cup 2026™ in first place.

The Best FIFA Women’s Player

Winner: Aitana Bonmati (52 points)

Third: Alexia Putellas (33 points)

The peerless Aitana Bonmati topped the polls for a third year in succession after yet more stellar displays for Spain and Barcelona, with her international team-mates Mariona Caldentey and Alexia Putellas in second and third. The Best FIFA Men’s Goalkeeper

Winner: Gianluigi Donnarumma (28 points)
Second: Thibaut Courtois (20 points)
Third: Alisson Becker (9 points)

Italy international Gianluigi Donnarumma provided the foundation for much of Paris Saint-Germain’s success during the 2024/25 season, earning a move to Manchester City on the back of a trophy-laden campaign. Croatia’s Luka Modric, Portugal skipper Bernardo Silva and USA’s Tim Ream are just three of the international captains to have selected him in first place after his displays during the qualifying period.

Winner: Hannah Hampton (28 points)
Second: Cata Coll (20 points)
